The Week of March 30, 2015

Did you know that all of you current Zers potentially just made 40+ new friends? I kid you not. That’s how many new Zers and alumni joined Team Z this past weekend. Woo hoo! Welcome New Zers and welcome back Team Z alumni! It’s awesome to have you all on the team.  If you’re new to the team or are an alumni but have been away for a while, expect an email or phone call from your mentor sometime this week.

I want to thank all of you who attended last week’s joint happy hour at the Cheesecake Factory at Tysons Galleria. For the new Zers, each chapter normally does its own happy hour during a recovery week. We decided to combine the happy hours into one mega happy hour. Coach Ed said that he counted 70 Zers there at one time or another. 70 ZERS!! Wow! It was so good to meet some new Zers and get to reconnect with Zers who I hadn’t seen in a while. Both Ed and I have gotten lots of positive comments about the happy hour and many want to know when we can do it again. If you missed this happy hour, don’t worry. We’ll schedule more of these later in the year. In the meantime, make an effort to attend the Arlington, West, or MDC happy hours when they come up.
