Thanks to all those who attended the hash run, team time trial and Millbrook Quarry open water swim.   We had a great turnout at Millbrook Quarry. The turnout for the hash run and team time trial were weak. It occurred to me that there might be some of you who don’t know what a hash run or a time trail entails. We can post a description of each. These activities are even more fun when the groups are larger so please make an effort to attend. Just showing up is 80% of the battle.

  • I’ve been texting with Coach Ed who is in Chattanooga for the 70.3/140.6 training weekend. He’s pumped about IM Choo Choo in September. If you’ve never seen an Ironman race, you’ll have two opportunities within a two week period in late September (Choo Choo)/ early October (Maryland) to experience all the craziness. When it comes to entourages/ cheer groups, Team Z has no competition. We encourage those of you not racing to make plans to hang out with us in both Chattanooga, TN and Cambridge, MD. I guarantee you won’t regret it. You’ll be energized and exhausted all at the same time. Carpool, room share, bring a sleeping bag.   You don’t have to break the bank to hang with us. It simply requires some planning and communication. But it will be worth it. Trust me, you’ll see!

 

  • There will be a number of polls coming out his week as we have a ton of stuff going on this weekend. We use the polls for planning purposes so please vote whenever you see a poll. We really appreciate it.
