All winter A races are finished.   Next week and the following are still pseudo recovery weeks which allow us all (staff and members) to mental break and get focused for the new season. We will be introducing new group workout locations for this summer, I’m pretty excited about it.    Here is the high level overview for next week ”“ details and Monday email coming out a day early (imagine that!).

To echo the note which I sent out with our weekend email (last week) to provide a look ahead for the M-F activities this week”¦.

Yes, things are still quiet in terms of team runs and rides ”“ M to F each week.   But the swims stay active and should be a focus along with the weekend workouts which are super important for all, and CRITICAL for our Ironman USA and MTM people.

Now ”“ there has been one change to the below schedule from what we announced last week.   We now have a recovery run for Wed (more of a social run) before our ONE TEAM happy hour.   A little tougher for some to make, but the happy hour is easily had if you can’t make the run.   This is a new location.

  1. Saturday Group Ride from 10 to 60 miles out of the Walmart, Haymarket. Ride may start at 8, or 9 ”“ weather depending
  2. Saturday at Bonzai Sports will be the Slow Twitch Road Show. This one sponsored by Slow Twitch and Dan Empfield, a legend in our sport and worth your effort to come by. We will have a booth there, so please let me know if you’d like to volunteer to help man it (talk to people).
  3. Without the Trimania Expo ”“ I expect this event to be well attended this year. Come by, or come by after your ride! We’ll have some grub for sale likely.
  4. Saturday ”“ we will do a wetsuit clinic in our tent at the Slow Twitch Road Show”“ since inside there will likely be tons of options for trying on new wetsuits and we want to make sure you know as much as possible before jumping in and making a purchase (this clinic planned for 2 pm at our tents at Bonzai).
  5. Sunday There is no group run ”“ it is Easter Sunday. Plan to run on your own.

The new Monday to Friday and then Weekend Workout Location Files have been loaded into our website.   They have also been loaded in Hard Copy to our website for those who like to print them for your records.  You may find those workouts hard copies on our website ”“ members.triteamz.com ”“ files ”“ workout locations folder.

  1. Remember ”“these hard copies that are loaded to the website are initial draft documents and they WILL change.
  2. So ”“ what I send in Monday/Weekend Emails Trump everything. If you see a difference between the website and the Monday or Weekend email, please let me know.   But the email is almost always correct.
  3. When changes are made for any reason, I apply them immediately to the hard copy files that I work from which IS the initial data upload to our website ”“ it is considered the master copy. This file lives on my computer and on Drop Box for back up.   I TRY to update any hard copy file change into our website manually and immediately.
  4. So website is second in command in terms of accuracy ”“ if not in a 100% tie with the workout location file that is on MY desk.
  5. The hard copy of the weekend or M-F file that lives on my desk is only periodically “reloaded” to the website. So check the dates on the files and make sure they are fairly recent or ask me to reload new versions.

  1. The only plans you should be following right now are “Ironman Maryland”, “Ironman Lake Placid”, or “Rev 3 Williamsburg” or “Rev 3 Half”.
  2. We will switch to Savageman and Miami Man after the July A races listed above in A.
  3. If you are racing an Ironman that is NOT Lake Placid or Maryland email me.
