Rock Creek is a great place to run – it is friendly to runners, and VERY pretty considering it is the heart of the city! Please note that parking is limited – carpool if you can. Depending on how long you’re out running and whether or not you plan on hanging out a bit after, possibly post-run grub at Nate’s”¦..

Sunday Group Ride ”“ 9:00 AM ”“ Davidsonville Park & Ride, Davidsonville, MD

 

This start location is way closer than you think.  According to Ed it’s only about 20 minutes from Arlington”¦.if you go by helicopter. It’s probably 30-35. Virginia people – don’t be scared of Maryland!! It’s closer than many of our Virginia rides. It’s not flat, but about as good as it gets without going to Easton or the beach.  New Zs, nervous riders”¦.come on out. Vets ”“ come meet some newbies!

 

Workout Leaders:  Mullerings (also known as Mary Pickering and Mark Mullen). Don’t worry if you can’t understand a word they say, they just returned from their nativeland ”“ also known as Middle Earth ”“ also known as New Zealand. They’ll be the ones eating Marmite on toast for breakfast. Sweet as, bru.

Ride Distance:   23 or less, 28, 43, 56, 71
Distance, notes:  56 = 28+28; 71 = 43 + 28, in that order please. 4 hours MAX (only our fastest on our longest tracks should be going for 71).
Directions:   From I-495, take US 50 east towards Annapolis for 10 miles. Take Exit 16, MD 424. Bear LEFT on the exit ramp NORTH to Crofton. Continue straight into the Park and Ride lot.  (If you need a bathroom, last chance is exit 13 South, there are gas stations and fast food places.)
